• Suitable for anyone who would like to learn the soft embellishing instruments (gender, rebab, kendhang, and gambang).
• Suitable for beginners to intermediate level.
• Instruments will be provided for the sessions.

Ongoing Projects/Residencies

• Suitable for any groups: school groups (Key Stage 2 and above), university, college and community groups.
• Suitable for longer periods of time.
• Tailor made to your requirements.
• Materials and resources will be provided.
• Materials of the project will include: introduction to gamelan music and background culture, equally learning different instruments for each learner, sense of playing in ensemble, and vocals part.
• There will be scheme of work for the whole course including lesson plans for each session.
• Using different teaching methods.
• Using different methods of assessing and monitoring the participants' progress.
• Evaluating the participants' progress and achievements in each session.
• Reporting and documenting the participants' achievements by the end of the course.
• Encouraging the participants to perform the music they have learnt at certain designated points within the course.
• The course will culminate in a final performance.

New music and collaborations

• Suitable for anyone looking to commission original music for film, theatre, dance, and any other media or art production.
• Original compositions use Javanese gamelan instruments only or Javanese gamelan instruments combined with western instruments and/or electronics.
